Heavy floods recently hit Langkat in North Sumatra, leaving local communities in a very difficult situation. After hearing this news, we immediately knew we had to step in. At Headway, we believe that during hard times, action matters more than words.

Essential supply boxes

Our team met with members of the community to deliver boxes carefully packed with essentials for daily life. Boxes contained food, like rice, noodles, sardines; cooking oil, sugar, and tea; hygiene items for well-being, and t-shirts.

These are simple things, but in a crisis, they are the most needed. We hope that each box does more than fill a stomach or clean hands, but makes their return to normal life a little bit easier.

Every step matters

We understand that boxes of supplies cannot erase the hardship or rebuild what was lost. This aid is simply our first step, a gesture of solidarity and a promise to the people of Langkat that they are not forgotten. The path to recovery is a long one, requiring incredible strength and resilience.
